    Hey,

I’m recently working on a VFX-shot where I want to use a large globe situated around my model in order to rebuild the reflections of the original set. I took a couple of shots of the place using a full frame fish-eye-lense which I wanted to use for my reflections. Unfortunately I just don’t seem to get the mapping right.

Does anybody have any tips for me how to map such a texture correctly in order to make the distortion match the globe?

    Cheers, Lisa

I think you will have to use stitching software to make a 360 degree pano from your fisheye shots. Then you can map the pano to the sphere.
