Manipulate X value within Position
If you have a layer with key framed position X,Y values but you just want to keep the Y values. So the layer just moves up and down, but gets rid of the side to side X values. The layer was not tracked it was motion sketched. This is easy, why am I blanking?
I have gone into the vale graph editor, selected the x position and deleted the x value and gave it a single value. This didn’t work?

This expession on Positon should do what you want:
x = 150;
[x,position[1]]Set x to whatever you want and it will stay at that x.
