Manhattan LCDs, Anyone have experience with this company? I was looking at some of their competitors, but their 8910 has HDSDI and more lines than most. More lines generally = better focus. So, I am asking the powerful COW forums…

Has anyone worked with or used Manhattan Monitors?

Info- looking small field portable monitors (9″ ish), SmallHD is one on my list, they’re sweet but no HDSDI, most of the smaller panasonic monitors are a bit soft. Not a fan or Marshall for field work.

I’ve been looking for the same thing Joe. Feature-wise, the Manhattan seems to be the way to go but, like you, I don’t have any first-hand experience with the product. I agree the Panasonics seem to be soft. I looked at the Ikan too, they have SDI-HD but they are still 1024×600.

It seems to be a trade off between resolution and SDI.

Post back if you come up with any more info.
