  • Managing multiple displays on one monitor? (one monitor in soundbooth, one outside it)

We recently invested in a Whisperbooth and have installed a monitor inside in portrait mode (Monitor B) for the purpose of displaying scripts during VO recording sessions. The monitor is connected to a computer outside the booth which is connected to a primary monitor running Audition (Monitor A).

The issue that we didn’t foresee when we came up with this plan, is that you can’t see Monitor B inside the booth from the desk where the computer is situated. Which makes managing scripts on that monitor a nightmare, with our current setup.

My thought was if there might be a plugin that would give a picture-in-picture of Monitor B on Monitor A, so we could manage it from the desk. Not sure if that exists because my searches so far have come up empty.

Just looking for suggestions on ways we can accomplish the end goal of having scripts on Monitor B in a way that is more manageable. We are open to some more investments to get this up and running. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Don’t know about a software solution but I would opt for a splitter for the output to the booth monitor and another monitor displaying the same feed at mix position.
    Interesting Adobe Audition question ????
    Good luck!

    I hear everything 😉

Thanks for the suggestion! That’s the way we are leaning.

(I wasn’t sure what would be a more appropriate forum from the list, and was hoping that there might be other Audition users who had attempted a similar setup with their booths so that’s why I posted it here. Sorry!)
