    anyway to make your own emitters. like a simple one. i mean like a black strip (covering eyes) that i could draw in paint and be able to move in particle illsuion. if there isnt, is there any program that i could use thats like particle illsuion how you go through each frame and add like a simple picture (black strip)

    1) Load the “default” library

    2) Add the “mouse” emitter to the stage

    3) open properties dialog for the stage emitter

    4) select “particles” tab

    5) select “change shape” tab

    6) select the “white 128” shape from the list and click the “make active” button.

    7) click the “colors” tab and make the gradient black instead of white.

    Close properties dialog by clicking OK. You now have a black square. To make it a rectangle (not square), r-click on the “Size” property in the hierarchy and select “lock aspect”. Now you can adjust the x and y sizes independently.

    Why not use a black solid in after effects and track the subject, thus you parent the strip to the tracking data?
