    Hey all,

Im tryin to sync sound for a project im working on…the video files are from a 7d and the audio is recorded separately. I have already synced the sound together on premiere but its not letting me make a subclip of the two together. I’ve tried all possible ways that I know of and even what the adobe premiere help said to do…But for some reason it wont let me subclip. Need your Help ASAP

is there a reason that you have to make a subclip out of the footage?

what about nesting the seq. that your synced video/audio is on?

I generally don’t do alot with subclips, but my guess is…..that to make a subclip you would have to have a piece of footage that is linked up natively. Just a guess though.

    Anyone else?

    I agree…

    Create a sequence.

Sync audio and video in that sequence.

    edit from that.

Not sure if you can subclip from a sequence though. You can add markers to it to easily navigate to your cut points.

Thanks for the help. The thing is that I’m syncing before i do any edits. there are multiple takes, multiple shots, and multiple scenes and i am trying to find the most efficient way to link the audio recorded and the footage before i start cutting.
