Making simple shape 3d
Can I turn a simple object that I draw into a true 3d object?
What I want is to make a small rectangle (but from left to right safe title), bevel it and make it 3D. I want to then have a camera move on it and turn it on its side to see that its 3D. Is motion just for making text 3D or can I draw my own shape and turn it 3D?
Seems that this would be something simple but it looks like I am going to have to learn After Effects after all….arrrrgggg. Help!
By the way, I have Motion 3.

You can build the rectangle yourself by placing the squares together in 3D space and build it yourself. It is very easy to do but time consuming.

Or you can download Zakwerks. https://zaxwerks.com/proanimatorfx/index.shtml They offer a demo version so you can see if you like it. It can build primitive shapes such as a rectangle a second.
