Making Simple Line effects
How do you make lines appear out of nowhere and go where I want them to? This is a real newbie question… I hope its comprehensable

Do you mean fade up? If so use opacity.
Do you mean appear from one side of the screen? If so position keyframes.
Do you mean draw on like you’re writing? Trapcode 3D stroke or even vector paint if it’s simple enough.There are a million answers to this!! Try being more specific …

… or draw a mask with the pen tool then apply effect>render>stroke and animate the effect’s end point.
