I am editing an HD project that I had to convert .MTS files to Apple ProRes. I am nervous to delete the original .MTS files. Everything has already been converted and I am using the new QT files in FCP. I need to make some room on my externals. IS it ok to delete the .MTS files after they have been converted??

Storage is so cheap. Why not move them to an inexpensive external for storage?
