  • Making Particular stick particles with proper Z-position stacking?

Posted by Jiri Fiala on February 12, 2012 at 9:15 pm

    Hi!

I need to make these huge particles (I know it’s not recommended) to stick to a Floor or Wall plane (that works), but I need to stack them properly on top of each other, as would happen in real life. I can’t figure this out. Any ideas? Thanks!

Why not use Plane Space- it seems a better tool for this job.

So, is there really no way to do it with Particular?

Even with Planespace, layers don’t stack properly… I’m sure it can be done, but I just don’t know why. Guess I won’t be able to do this one.

That is odd- Plane Space should work- do you have any 2d layers mixed in between? Is OpenGl turned on?
