In many cases, I would love to be able to browse only some of my fonts, like when searching for only a sans serif font, or a seriffed or fancy font…how do i put such types into “collections” to make it happen in Motion?

    Thanks again!

If you click the Browse button in the Text Inspector to bring up the OSX Font window, you’ll see that it organizes fonts into categories like Favorites, Recently Used, Classic, Fixed Width, Fun, etc.

You can even create your own categories.

Ah, yes, i knew about the available collections, but you just helped to find the very-easy-to-find “Browse” button, which lead me to the drop down menu where i chose “Manage Fonts”…THANKS!

    Thanks again!
