    hey guys,

    i shot a music video using the p2 cards. i know need to render out an 8bit compressed file, but it’s getting wonky.

    my timeline is

    dvcproHD 720p60 960×720 48khz audio

    what do you all recommend?

    what format was your camera set to record at on to the P2 cards

    How are you rendering it out? And do you mean 8 bit uncompressed HD, or SD?

    Did you go to:

    File-Export-QuickTime Movie

    Settings: Custom

    Then –

    Frame Size: HDTV 720p (16:9)
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
    Anamorphic 16:9: Unchecked
    Editing Time Base: 23:98
    Compressor: Uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2

    Then –

    Select the video processing tab and select “Render all YVU material in high-precision YUV” and change motion filtering quailty to best.

    Then – Go for it.

    Did that look better?

    Note: It’s probably better if you delete your render files first.
