I am making a logo for someone inside C4D and I am mostly done but they need one of the textures to be a bit darker so the text stands out more. I have tried turning down the texture brightness but that does not seem to do anything. Is there a better way of darkening a texture? I am using GI in the final render and just need to make the texture a bit darker. Its a brass texture just so you know.

did you make the texture or is it a preset from one of the packages or from 3rd party? There are some metals out there that use Luminance (works well when lit fairly brightly not so good with less light). If not it would be easier to see the texture file.
