Making a tearing effect appear in a layer revealing text below in AE CS6
Good morning:
I would like some advice on how to make a tear appear in the middle of a comp, like a knife slash or whip gash.
I am making an intro for a play about slavery and the image in my head is that the tear materializes with the title text revealed as the tear opens.
It will be accompanied by a whip sound.
Please don’t think me too odd.
The play is titled “Whipping Man”.
