making a render farm
Hi there,
In my work I have two imacs but only one installation of fcp. So, there is only one computer where i installed the fcp, motion, compressor, qmaster etc…
My question is: can i install only compressor and qmaster on the other computer ( to be used as service node ) with the fcp disk without having to buy a new license?Thanks in advance.

Qmaster on the main Mac allows you to use the second Mac for rendering without needing to install anything on the second Mac.
If the two are networked and Qmaster is setup and enabled in Compressor on the main machine, then you will have network rendering.
