when making a dvd, when I am ready to export my fil from premiere is it better to export as an avi and bring it into encore or should I export as an mpeg 2 dvd and bring it into encore? which is the better route to go?

sometimes I make DVD’s and they dont work on every player. Any thoughts?

my personal preference is to export as .AVI and import that into Encore, Encore does a good job of encoding to mpeg for you.
But we are all individuals and we all have our own ways of doing things 😉
And not all players will play a home authored DVD

My personal preference is to export as avi. A near 2 hrs takes about 1 hr to export. As Mpeg takes more, much more time and realized that Encore takes the same time to encoding both. So figure out
