    Mail Starts Up When Computer Does

    Hi,

    I have OS 10.4.9. For some reason, my Mail program starts up when I start up the computer now. It’s no big deal but I have no idea why it’s started doing that or how to stop it happening.

    Would appreciate some tips.

    Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> ACCOUNTS -> STARTUP ITEMS

    I suspect you’ll find Mail on that list. Just erase it.
