Magix Vegas 17 Pro Build 387 AVCHD rendering error
Just installed the newest version and now I can’t render using AVCHD templates. Never had a problem with previous versions.
When i select any of the AVCHD Templetes, I get this popup
AVCHD 1920×1080-60i
“The selected encode format requires the download
of an add-on software module the first time the format is used
If you wish to proceed, Click yes.”I click yes, Then another error occurs…
“An error occurred while creating the media file. The reason for the error could not be determined”
Is there a fix for this?

Hi Trip
You mention you’ve just installed the latest version. Of what ? Vegas Pro ? Movie Studio ?
If you have a registered version, it should come with the codec. If not, just Log In to your Magix account and contact support. They will be more than happy to help you out. I don’t recommend downloading a codec from a third party, you may end up with more than you bargained for.

I should already have the correct codecs. This template has worked with all previous versions of vegas. I go instal 17 and now the template doesn’t work without that “addon” error. I’m wondering if this is an issue in the software that can’t read the codecs, I will re-download it if someone can tell me which one it needs exactly.
I have contacted support, And yet to hear an answer.
