hey fellas here is the scenario i need guidance on:
    I take footage with a GL2 at 29.97 interlaced.
I bring that into Magic Bullet which deinterlaces the footage and brings it down to a fps of 23.976. The audio is still sync’d however in after effects.

Question is, if i wanted to burn this to a dvd, would i play back at 24 fps and would the audio still be sync’d for viewing on a television?

23.976 is a valid DVD frame rate, and BitVice or Compressor should be able to make the MPEG-2 files ok. The video will play back as 24p on players that can do that, and will be telecined into 29.97 for regular TVs. In both cases the sound should still be in sync.
