So this is the wierdest and scariest glitch I have experienced since 10.0.

In a nut shell, some of the audio in my project has decided to embed itself in the primary storyline.

I am unable to remove it, copy it, adjust it and I have no idea what to do to fix it.

    I’m running FCPX on a 2010 imac i7, 8GB Ram, 2.93 Quad core with 256GB SSD

    Please see attached screenflow file.

    Thanks,

    Many thanks,

Boris… I’ve run into this before, and I can’t quite remember what I did, but try this:

Select the errant clip in the timeline index. This will select the clip and move the skimmer to the start of the clip. Press CMD-X to cut the clip, removing it from the timeline and placing it in the copy buffer. Now without moving the skimmer, paste as a connected clip with OPT-V.

When I ran into this, after the initial shock of the bug, I remember it was actually fairly easy to remedy with the workaround.

Let me know if this doesn’t work.

Don’t live your life in a secondary storyline.
