When i connect Multibridge Extreme to MacPro (2.66, 4GB, Radeon 1900, EFI 1.2) and press power button, cooler on rabeon begins loud working and screen becomes gray, but no startup chime!

may it be with new firmware update for macpro?

    Hi,

Don’t think it’s the firmware of the Mac.

I would check the PCI Express cables to make sure they are securely fastened. Also check that the little LED light on the front of your Multibridge Extreme is lit up and not blinking.

    cables are tight screwed.

led is blinking, what does it mean?

Doesn’t sound good. Could be a power supply issue either with the power adapter or the internal unit in the Multibridge.

Does it run in standalone converter mode? Disconnect the PCIe cable, hook up USB and launch the Multibridge Utility. See if the options are available or greyed out.

Had this same problem several times. Unplug power and leave off over night usually works. Power up Multi before computer.
