    Your SD Stereo source should have CC on tape for the following process.
    1) Capture your SD file on Final Cut (Apple Pro HQ)
    2) Teranex Converter settings
    A) Input-480i 59.94
    B) Output-720p 59.94
    3) Make a HD Sub 720/59.94
    4) Capture your HD Tape source on Final Cut and make sure you Reslate adding the (H) or (HD)
    A) Export your file as H.264
    5) On MacCaptions
    A) Drop your Captured SD Source on to your timeline
    B) Drop your Captured HD Source on to your Video Window (H.264)
    C) Under Time Code Drop down/Mode select 59.94 HD Drop frame (720p,1080p)
    D) Under Time Code Drop down/Ripple Time Code, Select New starting time code. Play your video and when your captions start hit stop
    And look at your Movie Time Window to indicate when your “New staring Time Code” will be set.
    E) Select Autosync on Control Mode to verify that your captions are playing correctly, if your captions are off then repeat last step and select
    Increase time code by 10 frames. Increase your time if still not insync.
    F) under File/Export select Podcast/Web/Quicktime 608 thenQuicktime 608 Closed Captions (FCP/Podcast/Web).

    Your HD 5.1 source should have CC on tape for the following process.
    1) Capture your HD file on Final Cut (Apple Pro HQ)
    2) Teranex Converter settings
    A) Input-1080/59.94
    B) Output-720p 59.94
    3) Make a HD Sub 720/59.94
    4) Capture your HD Tape source on Final Cut
    A) Export your file as H.264
    Now Repeat Step 5 Above
