MacBook Pro 800 firewire
I bought one of the first MacBook Pro 15″ before the 17’s were available. I was surprised that they only offer a firewire 400. Is there anyway to add an 800 to it? I am using an older G4 to transfer data which blows the pro away when using the 800’s. Thank you.

If you want to spend some time on Google you may find other companies make similar products. Just is just one that I know of.

Check out the Apple forums regarding the Nitro card. Quite a few users have reported major problems. First out of the gate does not mean it was actually tested properly…….buyer beware. Might need to hold out a little longer for the other manufacturers to bring their cards out.
