I shot some footage on my EX3 as well as on a NanoFlash (at 35mbps) for a client who edits on a PC running Windows 7. Nothing I tried seems to allow him to use the files.

I initially sent an exFat formatted thumb drive, but his system does not recognize exFat. Then, I sent the NanoFlash files (each under 4Gb) to him on a MS-DOS formatted thumb drive. Still no luck.

He edits with Premiere, but does not seem to have the codecs required.

Thinking that these might include the codecs, I had him download the PC versions of the XDCAM EX Clip Browser as well as the XDCAM Transfer software from the Sony website. Still no luck.

    Thoughts?

    Thank you!

Does he have a professional NLE package installed? Those codecs aren’t included in the operating system, but Premiere Pro, Vegas, Edius et al have them…

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Tim.

We worked it out. He had an old version of Premiere and upgraded to CC2015. All is well.

    Thanks again,
