Mac Pro Secondary Graphics Card?
So I’m running a MacPro (Mid-2010) with Premiere Pro CC. I already have a Quadro 4000 for primary rendering/processing. I’d like to leave the Quadro with no monitor’s attached for optimal performance.
Now I just need a cheap secondary card for running dual 1920×1200 displays. Preferably via two DVI ports. I may also want to run a third signal out in the future to a 1080p plasma via hdmi or displayport…But this is not a priority.
Thoughts?

https://shopmatrox.com/usa/products/datasheet.asp?ID=918 3port displayport card – just use dongles to DVI/HDMI. Probably the most flexible choice. Matrox specialized in cards that simply handle multiple displays so browse their other offerings too.

You might even consider another NVidia card with the same cuda compute capability as your existing card to give you a little more oomph for ray tracing in After Effects if you use that…
