mac pro rendering xeon after effects faster render?
im looking to get a new mac soon. would the $800 more for the 3.0ghz be worth it for rendering? or not that big of boost?
mac pro with Two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (8-core)
or

Ah — good catch, Darby! Dave, for alternate suppliers, search the COW for “crucial” and “RAM”, and a thread on RAM should come up listing a few suppliers.
