    Mac OS X can’t repair GSpeed es pro RAID 5

    Hi,

    One fine morning I turn up my GSpeed es pro and Finder saying ‘Mac OS X can’t repair ‘My raid name’ and requesting a reformat. However, I can access the raid as read only. Backed up data (as much as I could).

    It’s set up as RAID 5 with 8 drives on two modules connected to ATTO R680.

    Has any one encountered similar issue?

    Help would be highly appreciated.

    Mac pro 4,1, 8 core, OS X 10.6.8
    14 GB RAM
