HELP! I recently installed apple software updates and FCP 7 to both my desktop and laptop workspace and now FCP won’t read my firewire. No settings have been altered on my camera. I’ve followed the same workflow that I’ve been following all of a sudden there’s an issue. FCP 7 is reading P2 cards from my P2 drive not my camera. I do a lot of field producing in which my camera is my workhorse for transferring video and I’ll need to get this resolved before my next remote. What am I missing here?

I’m pretty sure FCP7 is only for Snow leopard(10.6).

Was it a clean install or did you update over an older version of FCP?

If not a clean install, I suggest you search this forum for the oft repeated advice and best method of installing FCP7.

You are wrong! FCP 7 works very well with Leopard (10.5.8).
