That’s one of the biggest joke I have ever encountered. It is back to MAC support now? OK, Adobe abandon MAC for the “great reasons”, then come back to fighting for the market?

So, besides the time remapping, I don’t see other visible new features that is worth upgrading, unless you are going HD. (that means I need $$$$ to upgrade my Hardware for it)? Hmmm… I must be missing something.

Now, as I research more… I do see another BIGGGGGGG advantage of upgrading. Encore is now included in Premiere Pro AC3 !! WOW! Although I have other authorizing softwares, but being able to through it all in one package is great! I will definitely upgrade. (“…Use Adobe Encore CS3, included with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3” – right from their website.)

P.S.: I also found another way to upgrade that is $100 cheaper! If you upgrade to 2.0 now, and Adobe will give you AC3 for free! Can’t beat that! ($199 for Pr AC3 from Premiere 6.5, 1.0 or 1.5!) You have to order 2.0 first, between now and Aug 2007, then, call Adobe for AC3.

    Sincerely,

I highly suggest upgrading to the Video Bundle and then get a free upgrade to CS3 later. That way you will have After Effects, Audition (not in the next version so get it now) and you will have Encore now instead of later. Throw in After Effects, Illustrator and Flash and you are kicking tail!

Thanks Steve. Good suggestions, but I am not a video professional, just hobbist. Therefore, it is out of my budget, or at least my wife’s. Haha!!
