  Mac crashes when editing to tape with 23,98/29,97/59,94

  Hello,

  i have a very strange problem when editing to tape with 23,98p/29,97p/59,94i.

  my setup:

  power mac g5
  2 x 2,5 ghz
  4,5 gb ram
  dual fibre channel to san (which delivers +500 mbyte/s)
  decklink hd pro dual link & single link
  mac os x 10.5.11
  quicktime 7.3
  final cut pro 6.0.2
  decklink drivers 6.6.2

  my destination deck is sony srw-5500 (hdcam-sr).

  everything works fine in 24p/25p/30p/50i/60i.
  all ntsc-based framerates result in crashing the whole system (grey mac-debug-screen)
  seldom it is possible to edit only picture to tape.
  but audio is impossible.
  all files are rendered in external applications.
  playback works fine for hours!
  only edit to tape crashes.

  replacing the decklink-card didn’t help.

  any suggestions?

  older setups did work fine.
  maybe the driver has a problem.
  or fcp 6+.
