  m2v file duration changes

  Hello,
  I have a movie file supplied to me – it was produced on a Mac with FCP and the duration is 49.34.31. The file was supplied with the audio seperate – the audio is the right length however the m2v file when imported into encore is 45.10.03 – I am missing the last 4 and a half minutes.

  i have checked it in Premiere Pro 2, Encore2 and Windows Media player and they all say the file is 45.10.03 minutes long.

  I have checked it on another machine using Windows Media Player and it says that the file is 37 minutes long.

  Something strange?????

  I have had the file checked and resent with the same duration on the new file.

  Also FCP is playing the file to the end with no problem.

  Any thoughts??
