m2ts format not working in Vegas 6.0
Hi there. I know there are alot of posts on this subject, but I am still unable to get m2ts file formats accepted in Vegas Movie Studio. The error I get is that it is not an accepted format. I am still on Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0. Could that be part of the problem? Should I upgrade? But if so, I want to make sure that I won’t still have this problem with the newer versions…

Vegas Movie Studio HD 9 supports Sony m2ts files.
I am unaware if version 6 would. I would think not though due to age.

I agree with Jeremy.
Looking back through the Readme files, support for m2t files wasn’t added until VMS 8 so an upgrade is required. -
