M2TS files – Premiere CC versus CC 14
I have a number of M2TS files that seem to work fine in CC but when you try and import them into CC14 i get the dreaded “unsupported compression type” WTF ? This update ain’t so great so far.
Any ideas ?Mitch Drummond

Rename the folder the files are in and try again. See if that will work.

rename the file and save it to some other location and then import it or import the clip directly from the camera card using media browser.
