m2t file fix
Hello Everyone.
I have been having a really crazy time trying to make this happen. I’ve searched and found some “solutions” on the forum, bu to no avail. Here’s the issue.
I’m using Avid Media Composer 3.5 and some HDV footage digitized with HDV Split. The clips are about 120 minutes long.
Some of the clips did not import into Avid MC because they have some “glitches” (I guess in the transport stream), hence digitizing with HDVSplit, and not Avid.
I found, on the forum, someone who suggested to re-encolde the m2t file to create another m2t file with no “glitch”.Great idea!
I have tried using the following programs:
TSRemux0212 – Did not import that type of mpeg.
mpeg2repair1015 – Did not import that type of mpeg.
ProCoder 3 – kept crashing while trying to creat the file.
I am now using Sorenson Squeeze. I tried to re-encode using the “BD_1080i60” template and changed the setting to HDV HD2. I got the following error:
“There was a compression error while compressing the file… Error: 0x80010001”
Can anyone please help me with this isssue??
I would like to know if anyone has a workflow for this.
corrupted HDV m2t file -> Avid Importable m2t file
Any help would be greatly appreciated as the client is waiting, and I can’t really start without the footage.
Thank you for any help you could give.
