    Greetings,

I’m needing to output 5 audio tracks for a sweetening session tomorrow from my trusty M100i – and the grayed “export to OMF” option prompts a pop-up window to go to the M100 website to purchase this component – though no component can be found on their site (they don’t even have a search engine!).

Any thoughts, tricks, advice (other than making the switch to a new system!).

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Thanks Floh,

I did put in a call to them first thing, and then went to the lists to gather general wisdom!

    Thanks,

    Hi Dave,

The options and upgrades for media 100 are now on Boris FX’s online store,

    https://artel-software.stores.yahoo.net/opup.html

The OMF is $595, but it has to be ordered rather than downloaded.

    Open Media Framework –

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OMFI

Where you can export your audio timeline with handles for a studio to use for sweetening.

FYI, there is a 2Gig file size limitation with OMF – Avid gets around this by creating sequetial files I believe, but media 100 (via DQ) did not / could not implement this.

If using M100’s OMF exporter for LONG timelines, you are best served breaking the export up into scenes.
