I’m working on a project with another editor who uses only Avid. Is there a way to XML files back and forth between M100 and Avid like we can with FCP? Was looking at Automatic Duck but it appears to be quite expensive? Any other solutions?

    Thanks a lot.

Wes, the guy behind AutomaticDuck, recently joined Adobe, so the AD plugins are free now. You could go Media100->FCP->Avid and back, but even exchanging timelines between FCP and Avid is some sort of hassle, at least if you want to carry over the media files. If this is a one time exchange it probably will work, but if you need to go back and forth several times this will be probably a lot of manual re-creation of effects and stuff.

Fantastic! Should just be a one time transfer so we will give it a shot. Not sure where you get all your info and knowledge from Floh but it is always appreciated! Thanks.
