Is there any chance that this would provide support for 720p50 native (rather than varicam/variframe)? If not, do you have plans to support native 720p50 on the Decklink HD range in the near future? (Or is it on 5.1, and I’ve just not found it yet?)

With a lot of European broadcasters gearing up for HD, and many wanting to support the option of 720p50, not having this supported on the card is a real pain for me.

Hi Kevin,

I spoke with the engineers and they would like to add this soon. The features for the next update are already locked down but hopefully 720p50 will make it in to another update shortly afterwards.

Please do drop by and that’s a really good idea as the engineers pick up a lot of information from the show as to what DeckLink owners want. If they keep hearing the same request, they are sure to work on it.
