  • Lowest JPG sequence quality for web banner?

Hello CC community, I’m doing a web banner and instead of animating it in Flash I wanted to do animation in AE so it would have a different look from the typical web banner.

This is how its getting done: I exported JPG sequence from AE (not max quality, just high), imported into flash as seq, added button layer and saved it as swf.
Problem is, I can’t get the file to be less than 3mb (its 15s-20s long) and the guy from the website is telling me no more than 250kb.

I reduced the length from 25s to 15s, also cut frame rate from 24 to 15, and still not enough.

Any ideas to cut a couple of MB out of it?

I would appreciate any help and info about this subject.

Instead of exporting a jpg sequence (if you have CS5 and up) you should try exporting a Flash project out of AE (rasterizing unsupported effects) and then render out from Flash.
