Lower thrds title plug-in?
Posted by Kevin on January 20, 2006 at 6:37 amHi list,
Wondering if anyone know of a plug-in which will allow me to create profssional looking lower third titles (with opaque or even moving graphic) right in FCP or is this something I have to do each time in Photoshop? I would love to have a template that I can update with the appropriate names of speakers withour going out to a graphics program each and every time.
Many thanks in advance for any tips.
Warmest,
Kevin

January 20, 2006 at 5:15 pmHi Walter, Shane and Wayne,
Many thanks in deed for th prompt responses.
I di use the Boris loer third tittler but it is a little limiting in terms of all I can customise is the colar of the background of the bar and font.
Ideally what I’d like to be able to do is substitute something more sophisticated, like a motion backgroud or a more visual interesting backgroud bar. Be nice if I could create one in AE or Motion and substitute it for the basic bar in Boris 3D.
I’ll look more closely at the CHV plus, maybe they are customisable.
Mnay thanks again all,
K.

January 20, 2006 at 5:19 pmWhy not use Live Type? Its excellent for things like this and, integrates well with FCP. Thats why its included.

Same is true for .MTN Motion projects.

January 20, 2006 at 7:54 pmYou should look into the Editors Toolkit products from Digital Juice. Hundreds of lower thirds motion backgrounds.
