Hi! I have a 2019 macbook pro with 16 gb ram. Yesterday, even with the most simple composition (just a shape going from a A point to B) i can’t see the preview and this message says “low memory warning. RAM use has been extended for previews. Adjust Ram settings in preferences-Memory and Performance”. The thing is that ALL of the memory is reserved for After effects (13 gb/16). Of course i purged memory and caches several times, but nothing changed. I saw soooo many tutorials saying the same things but nothing… What can I do? Thank you so much

Unfortunately, 16Gb is now the minimum required to run AE, so these errors might become more common for you. That being said, I have seen a few posts complaining about a potential bug that Adobe are looking at around previews on mac.

It might be connected to your graphics card. What happens if you switch to Software only in Project Settings?
