  • Loud audio feedback on playback of cross fade (sequence imported from FCP 7)

Hey all. So I exported a 90 min sequence from FCP 7 (had to do it in chunks) but eventually got the whole thing in Premiere Pro CC 2015 (9.2.0).

Problem is: loud feedback when playing back audio Constant Power cross fades, but not every time, if I go back to spot after playing it and play again, the feedback SOMETIMES does not play. When I delete the crossfade, the feedback does not play but when I add a new crossfade (Constant or Exponential) in Premiere, it plays again.

    What I’ve tried:
-created a new sequence in Premiere and copied and pasted
    -deleted render files
    -rendered audio
    -deleted media cache

There are no audio plugin effects or any effects except volume on these clips besides the fade.

Also to note: I edit projects that originate in Premiere every day all day and have not encountered this particular problem with any other project. No help from Adobe Support.

    System info:

    Thanks, Crescent D.
