lost old media 100 backup of program, need to rescue it if possible
In my project I had a backup program but never resaved the program under a different name, just kept that dated backup file name. after I worked on the thing, i since moved on to another project for a couple weeks. when i went back to the other project the backup program there is italicized/ greyed out and won’t open as if it doesn’t exist. Is there a way to get it back? It’s no longer in my baxckup folder because it’s only programmed to hold a certain amount and my second project filled up its slots. any help would be great, it was a two hour program I may have to redo, even though I still have all the media and bins.

In my experience, it’s gone I’m afraid. These files, as you say, get deleted automatically after a while.
