You can do the same thing global. I also have a project called “Walter’s FX and Filters.” See the thing about being able to save this as a project means I can take my filter settings with me anywhere. Just bring the project with me to my laptop or to anyone else’s shop.

as it is, a lot of people DONT make a backup of their faves, and then lose them with a pref trash,
or an up-date.nick

or an up-date.”Yes, but it does not appear to be in FCP 6 and I’m not sure it ever will be there. So do what I’ve been saying for probably two years now. Save all your faves into a project or multiple projects.
