    Lost my Decklink Desktop – think its reverting to HD and not SD

    Hi there

    I have a SD SDI monitor which my Decklink HD is connected to.

    When I’m in FCP 5 all is fine and I get correct playback on my SDI monitor BUT when I switch to my Finder the screen goes mad – like its switching to HD and the SD monitor doesn’t know what to do with the signal.

    Please, Please could someone tell me how to get my Decklink HD to remain as SD so I have and can use the Decklink Desktop feature.

    At present I have to switch input on the SDI monitor so as to have it blank black as the Scrabbled Noise that I get when in the Finder is no nice on the eyes 😉

    Anyone at BMD know whats going on with this?
    I have the latest everything, Mac OS 10.4.1, Decklink 5 blah blah blah blah

    Hi Rory,

    Go into Display Prefs and press the “Gather Windows” button.

    You can workout the rest.
