Whenever I try to open a vegas project a pop-up comes up that says that it could not find the specified file in the location specified. It lets me do a search and I tried that, but it still said that it could not find the project. This only started happening a couple days ago after I cleared out all the clips I didn’t need. I also deleted some files like: default.sfvidcap and others that ended with .avi.sfk. Is this just a coincidence or did I delete something important? If so how can I get it back? Could I reinstall vegas?

    Thanks.

Sorry, solved the problem; reinstalled vegas and it worked. However for future reference what is the Default.sfvidcap?

If you want to use it, it’s the capture program’s “log”.
For example, I do mostly batch capturing of my clips and, to help with potential re-captures, I’ll save the vidcap file under the same name as the project I’m working on.
