    Hi,
I’ve lost some codecs in AE, specifically the uncompressed 8 bit 4:2:2 and 10 bit codecs. Those codecs show up in FCP and QTPro, but not in AE. I’ve deleted preferences, copied codecs from other systems and have “Show legacy encoders” turned on in QT. Any thoughts? This is on a PowerPC G5 with OS 10.5.4
    Thanks, Stuart

Never mind, found them. Someone had installed the Blackmagic codecs and for some reason that was hiding the Apple codecs from AE. They showed back up again after deleting the Blackmagic codecs.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
