    Hey there peeps,

I’m in a real bad situation here. I was working on a very important short movie, editing sound in Audition CS6 (Mac) and bam! electricity gone… Luckily I saved my project regularly and that’s not the problem. When electricity came later, i tried to open my project in Audition but i saw that a .wav file in the timeline became corrupted (probably due to power failure).

That waw file was the audio of the short movie. I did lots of clean ups, volume ups and downs on it. So i was thinking what i could do to recover that. I did get another export from Premiere Pro and converted that into wav. file. Then i removed the corrupted file and renamed the new wav exactly the same as old one.

When i tried to launch the project in Audition, i saw that none of my changes are there. Does Audition save changes directly onto the wav or into the project? What can i do to restore my lost work?
