    Hello all,

I’m loving Sony Vegas but I have a little bit of a problem.

My current project is pretty simple, just basically kinetic text (a la https://vimeo.com/11572203).

The only problem is that when I use the pan/zoom tool to do close-ups on individual words, it starts to blur because the ProType Titler doesn’t scale with the zoom tool.

I could make the frame size of the ProType layer really big, but in the end I’d still get blur at higher zoom levels.

I’ve read that Vegas can import PSDs. Could I keep text (as vector paths or text objects) in a PSD and have it scale without blur? Or is there another way to get vectors into Vegas?

TL-DR: ProType outputs a bitmap and not a vector, which creates blur when zooming. I want to make vectors that scale without quality loss.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards, Rikky.

Try using the ProType Titlers timeline at the bottom of the window. Click symbol next to the X and Y scales to add them to the timeline.

Vegas can’t work with vector files. You will need to make the resolution of your source large enough that it doesn’t blur when you zoom in. It’s that simple. ProType can be as big as 4K x 4K, Photoshop can be as big as you want.
