Looking to simplify my production.
Hi, Im hoping domeone can point me in the right direction.
I edit in AVID as 1920x1080i (HD) Then ultimately i want to make Blu ray AND DVD s in Adobe Encore.
Im finding i have to make 2 different encore projects where I really would prefer just to make the 1.
Currenlty I take a mixdown of my HD seq in AVID, export it to Sorenson squeeze and make a BD compliant file and use this in Encore to buold my menus etc etc . I thern make an ISO file and burn away.
The DVD I want is from the same sequence, but because of field order issues I find im having to make a SD mixdown in avid, and then a qt ref of that to sorenson, make a dvd compliant file, then make a dvd encore new project.
Id love to be able to make Blyu Ray and DVD from the same Encore project . Can this be done and how do i go about doing it, without any fielld order issues creeping in on movement.
