For $100 more than the cost of the Letus Elite, you can get the M2 Encore microX Indie Bundle from Redrock Micro. It includes a rail system. I’ve been using the Letus Extreme for the last 15 months and it’s been great… but, the new M2 Encore blows it out of the water. I had the chance to play with one the other day. With the Letus Extreme/Elite you can’t stop down past f4 without seeing the ground glass. That limits you to a pretty shallow depth of field. The M2 Encore uses a spinning ground glass that allows you to stop all the way down to f22 if desired. That kind of flexibility is important. On the subject of rods alone, I have Cinevate’s solid carbon fiber rods –totally indestructible!
